SUBJECT: VISAI 2016 - International Project Competition.
Vel Tech Dr. RR & Dr. SR Technical University is proud to make the first announcement of its annual event VISAI 2016, 6th International Engineering Project Competition & Exhibition on 23rd & 24th Feb 2016 at the university campus in Avadi, Chennai. The exhibit will have 160 innovative projects and bring together Technical institutions across the globe and create a forum to share students’ technical prowess.
This forum since being conducted by Vel Tech University every year ,the visiting companies provide employment to a number of students after seeing their Projects and their communication talent. Also the funding agencies select the Projects for funding for further research to the next level.As we conduct an International Conference on “Innovative Design, Analysis & Development Practices in Aerospace and Automotive Engineering” on these dates simultaneously,several foreign experts who come for the Conference do visit and guide the students for further improvement in their Projects.Thus Vel Tech university provides a single platform for the students to exhibit their talents, Provide Placement Opportunities, enables patent and assists in further research.
VISAI forum invites Innovative Projects in the following streams
• Mechanical Stream: Mechanical, Aeronautical, Automobile, Civil & allied
• Electrical Stream: Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation & allied
• Computing Stream : CSE, IT, Computer Applications & allied
• Biochemical Stream : Bio-Medical, Biotech, Chemical & allied
The best projects in each stream will be selected for awards and Prizes. We have declared a prize money Rs.1,00,000 for the winners. Projects will also be awarded for best performances under the categories like Best Interdisciplinary Project, Best Innovation and Best Design. There will also be Consolation Prizes and Surprise Gifts.
